Landed

Your preparation met opportunity.

You are qualified. You are not getting hired. That is not a you problem.

Landed is RAISE Tech’s employment navigation platform. It is not a resume generator, a job board, or a template site. It is the complete journey from where a qualified person is stuck to where they need to be.

Landed is in development. It is being built by someone who spent twenty years inside systems that were never designed to succeed for the people they served, not because of the people working in them, but because of how they were built. She built programs inside them anyway. Award-winning ones. Built on listening.

Getting hired was one of the things the people she worked with needed most, and one of the places they got stuck. What existed to help was a resume workshop, a job board, and a caseworker with an hour. None of it touched why they were not getting called back. Landed is what she would have handed them.

The first thing Landed does is ask one question: are you getting no responses to applications, or are you getting interviews but not offers?

These are completely different problems requiring completely different solutions. That single diagnostic routes every person to the right intervention before any content is generated and before any time is wasted on the wrong problem.

Five barriers. Landed addresses all of them.

These are the five I watched stop qualified people for twenty years.

Harvard Business School and Accenture surveyed more than 2,000 employers and found that over 90 percent use software to filter or rank candidates before a person reads the file, and that 88 percent acknowledge qualified people get screened out for not matching the exact wording of a job description. Nearly half automatically screen out any resume with an employment gap over six months. Landed is built for this reality.

Harvard Business School and Accenture, Hidden Workers: Untapped Talent, 2021

1The resume is filtered before a person ever reads it
2The interview measures fit, not capability
3A gap or a record ends the conversation early
4Real skills do not survive translation into job-posting language
5There is no one on the inside to put your name forward

Discrimination runs through the first three of these. It is not a separate barrier sitting off to the side. And Landed is not launching until people who have hit these walls have used it and told me where it is wrong. How that works →

What Landed delivers.

This is what Landed is being built to deliver. Founding partners will tell me which of it actually matters and which of it does not, and this list will change because of what they say.

Professional Materials
  • Resumes in three formats, chronological, functional, and combination, written in the terms screening software is trained to recognize
  • Cover letter frameworks in three versions: general, career change, and gap explanation
  • A professional summary you can reuse
  • LinkedIn profile guidance
  • Job search email templates
  • Core competencies translation
Interview Preparation
  • A STAR guide, situation, task, action, result, for people coming to Landed on its own
  • If you complete Finally Seen first, mock interview practice using your own validated stories rather than generic examples
  • Field-specific interview preparation
  • Practice scripts for the hardest questions: gaps, termination, failure, weakness, and why should we hire you
  • Questions to ask in an interview, and what to look for on an organization’s website, to tell how they actually handle things
  • Salary negotiation scripts

On disclosure. A Disclosure Preparation Framework helps you think through and practice how you want to talk about your background, once you have decided what you want to share. Landed does not tell you what to disclose. That call is yours, and for questions about your legal rights, an attorney or a legal aid organization is the right place to go.

Post-Hire Support
  • First-week success strategies
  • A workplace integration framework
  • Professional follow-up templates
  • Network relationship maintenance
Network Building

A concrete, actionable plan for building professional connections in your target field:

  • Who to reach out to
  • What to say
  • How to build relationships before asking for anything

Not a generic LinkedIn strategy. Actual next steps matched to how hiring really happens in your specific field.

Stronger with Finally Seen.

Landed works on its own. But if your background needs translation first, Finally Seen comes first, and its validated stories power Landed’s mock interview simulation. You practice with your own real experience, not generic examples.

Founding Partners

Who shapes this before it launches.

Twenty years inside these systems says where the barriers are. It does not say whether this tool clears them. That answer belongs to the people it was built for.

So Landed is not launching until people who have hit these walls have used it and told me what is wrong. Two paths are open: organizations serving these populations, including the staff doing the work, and individuals with direct experience of these barriers.

RAISE Tech is pre-revenue and I am not going to pretend otherwise. There is no cash payment. What founding partners receive is named in full before anyone agrees to anything.

See how it works

Landed is in development. Descriptions on this page reflect what it is designed to do. Features, availability, and pricing may change before launch. Landed is an employment navigation tool. It does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment. It does not provide legal advice, advice about your rights as a job seeker, or immigration advice. Decisions about what to disclose to an employer are yours to make, and for legal questions an attorney or a legal aid organization is the right place to go.
